Flex Your Social Muscle
October 3 @ 6:30 pm
Social connection is essential, but modern life can make it difficult to meet this human need. Psychological science has found multiple ways to help people feel more connected, such as talking to new people, having deeper conversations or creating connections even when you’re alone. Natalie Kerr, Ph.D. and Jaime Kurtz, Ph.D., James Madison University faculty members, encourage people to practice these small behaviors in daily life to feel more connection. Join us for their upcoming talk “Flex Your Social Muscle.” This event is part of VMRC’s Active Aging Week program, which runs from October 2 to October 8.
