Shenandoah Valley Lyceum: Going Viral

The 20th season of the Shenandoah Valley Lyceum kicks off with its first event Going Viral: How Pandemics Have Shaped Global History. This talk is led by Mary S. Sprunger, professor of history & program director for Eastern Mennonite University. In her lecture, Dr. Sprunger will analyze several examples of major pandemics worldwide, including the bubonic plague, and compare them to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tickets: $8 in advance; $10 at the door
