Assisted Living at Crestwood
Maximizing Your Independence
Assisted Living means you receive some additional services beyond those provided in Independent Living. We view assisted living as a service – not a place. Rely on staff to cook, clean, do laundry, even help manage medication if you need it.
Crestwood residents can enjoy programs and activities designed by activities professionals. The proximity to Strite Auditorium makes it easy for Crestwood residents to attend programs, worship services and special events.
Retirement Homes With Service, Comfort, & Socialization
Apartment homes center around a large, common area for socializing, entertaining or celebrating a special occasion. Meal service is offered in a restaurant-style dining room within Crestwood. Other dining venues located on campus include the Hartman Dining Room, Main Street Cafe and Seed & Harvest Restaurant. Residents can easily access the amenities on Main Street via the indoor corridor throughout campus. Main Street offers shopping at the Main Street Store, a game room and library in Park Gables and the Wellness Center.
VMRC hosts rotating art exhibitions in the Park Gables Gallery, located on Main Street. With exhibiting space for nearly 100 pieces, the Gallery has elevated VMRC’s status as “an arts retirement community” in the area. The Gallery offers track lighting, pedestals for woodwork, sculptures and 3D artforms.
Additional Support Enhances Retirement Living
Every resident gets an individualized assessment plan identifying their interests and needs to enjoy life to its fullest in Assisted Living. Staff in Crestwood have a reputation for their care and commitment to residents. We consider the full spectrum of wellbeing – social, spiritual, intellectual, physical and more! Our goal is to help people age well and live fully.
Family members appreciate the close-knit community and the stability it provides their loved ones. Level of care and costs are determined by assistance required with activities of daily living. These activities are bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring out of a chair or a bed, and bladder and bowel continence.
