Crafting New Spaces

Leading the charge in transforming our spaces is Greg Nesselrodt, our dedicated Director of Construction, who has been with VMRC for an impressive 15 years. Greg’s passion for design and innovation ensures that every refurbishment project meets and exceeds our residents' expectations.

Embracing Modern Trends

Greg keeps a keen eye on the latest trends in home design. “The current trends in renovation seem to be more neutral,” he explains. Think grays, white cabinets, stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. Barn doors and energy-efficient LED lighting are also highly sought after. These choices not only create a modern, sleek look but also ensure energy efficiency — a win-win for our residents and the environment.

Energy efficiency is a key focus for Greg. “We put all LED lighting in our apartments when we renovate them and we use all LED lighting in any renovations of public areas,” he notes. Upgraded appliances, quartz countertops and overall energy-efficient designs are not just trends; they’re essential features that add value and comfort to our living spaces.

A Personal Touch

When new residents join VMRC, they have the exciting opportunity to meet with Greg and begin their design process. Greg provides a wide array of samples — from cabinets to countertops, paint to flooring — and spends several hours collaborating to create their ideal living space. Whether a resident desires a single color throughout or a vibrant mix, Greg’s goal is to bring their vision to life.

Your Dream Home Awaits

Greg encourages potential residents to visit VMRC and explore the diverse living options available. “Come and see what we have to offer,” he invites. “We promise to personally do everything we can to create your dream home here.”
